Ian is a gentle, affectionate boy with a quiet, loving nature who enjoys being close to his people. He is happiest as a loyal companion by your side and brings a steady, peaceful presence to a home. Since moving into foster care, Ian has grown more confident and is showing more of his personality every day. He loves his naps and will do best in a home that respects his rest and gives him a cozy space to relax undisturbed. Any children in the home should be supervised and able to respect his boundaries while he’s sleeping. Ian is not especially food motivated, so he responds best to patience, routine, praise, and calm affection. His personality shines brightly, and he bonds deeply and wants nothing more than to be near his people.

Ongoing Health

Ian previously suffered from severe pneumonia/bronchopneumonia but is now healthy.

Training & Support

Ian is potty trained, great in the car, gentle on walks, and well-behaved in public. He is social and dog-friendly. He has been around cats and may do well with proper introductions. Ian responds best to patience, routine, praise, and calm affection.
