Persephone is a sweet and friendly 35 lb pup with an estimated DOB of 2/14/2024. She's a bit shy in new surroundings and is still learning to be confident on leash walks. Persephone absolutely adores other dogs and playing with her foster brother. She's also done well with cats, showing little interest in them. She's good with kids and consistently sits and will usually come when called. She is crate trained and loves snuggling her favorite people. Tennis balls and really all toys are a hit with this girl! Persephone can be a little timid with loud sounds and sudden movements, especially when there's a lot of activity around her. Her foster family says she's one of the sweetest dogs they've ever met, with a funny and happy personality that will surely bring joy to her forever home. She might even remind you of a red panda with her adorable looks!

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Persephone. She needs a patient adopter who can help her acclimate to new surroundings and build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

All standard vet care including spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies vaccine, microchip, and preventative care for heartworm and fleas/ticks are up to date.

Training & Support

Persephone is working on leash confidence. She can be timid with sudden movements and loud noises, so patience and a gentle approach will be key to her success.
