About Bear Bunny with the Biggest Hopps

Looking for a new best friend who is equal parts social butterfly and professional cuddler? Meet Bear, the tall, dark, and handsome charmer who is ready to steal your heart and your favorite spot on the rug!

If you're looking for a loyal companion to follow you from room to room or a dedicated shadow to keep you company while you work from home, he's your guy! He is incredibly smart and catches on to new things in a heartbeat, especially when there is a tasty treat involved. He is the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the action, whether that's hanging out nearby or keeping a watchful eye on his favorite humans.

Bear is a stunning German Shepherd mix! At a healthy 69 lbs. he has a tall, athletic frame that makes him look like a true champion, but don't let his size fool you – he's a softie at his core. He's a big dog through and through, meaning there is just more of him to hug and more of him to love!

Bear is currently thriving in a wonderful foster home where he is discovering just how sweet life can be! He's become a total fan of the stuffy toy lifestyle, carrying his plushies around like they are his tiny, fluffy treasures. He's been a gentle giant with his 10-year-old Chihuahua roommate, showing us his silly and respectful side. He is a champion in his crate and loves a good routine where he knows exactly when the next round of ear scratches is coming. A silly note from his foster is, "When Bear is chewing on a toy, he becomes so incredibly focused. He prefers it perfectly silent! If he hears a noise, he'll stop and look up with a hilarious look of, 'Excuse me, I am trying to have a very important moment with my stuffed friend here,' before getting right back to his business once the quiet returns." Bear is ready to bring his manners, stuffy toys & love into your home!

Ideal Home

Bear's dream home is one where he gets to be the main character. While he'd absolutely adore a yard to stretch those long, dapper legs, his calm, go-with-the-flow vibe means he can also rock the apartment life like a pro. At the end of the day, what Bear wants most is his people – a family who sees just how special his sweet personality and brilliant brain are.

Ongoing Health

Bear is a healthy 69 lbs.

Training & Support

Bear is a champion in his crate and loves a good routine. He approaches new furry friends with confidence, respect, and tail-wagging charm. On leash, Bear is cool as a cucumber and greets other dogs with perfect etiquette. He is dog-friendly and absolutely thrives with canine companions who enjoy a kind, easygoing playmate. Bear is a thoughtful, well-mannered guy who just needs a moment to warm up to new situations, including feline friends.
