Meet Bubba Boy, an 8-year-old pocket pittie with the gentlest soul. He's a true soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him will be truly special. Bubba's favorite place in the world is curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours. He's calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. Bubba is affectionate and happiest when he's soaking up love and sunshine. While he's typically chill, he does enjoy an occasional zoomie in the backyard about once a month! When he sees the leash, he gets very excited because he walks beautifully and does great passing other dogs. Bubba is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs, but he's been cat and dog tested at the rescue and passed! He would likely do great living with a cat. Bubba gives kisses very sparingly, which makes them extra special. He thinks he's a weighted blanket and loves laying his whole body on your chest. He's a professional-level snuggler who also loves sunbathing, burrowing under blankets, and rides well in the car. He never misses a meal and still gets the occasional zoomies!

Training & Support
Bubba does not jump. He is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs. We offer extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff, including individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, such as crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Bubba is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
