Meet Crissy, a sweet and friendly 9-year-old female Lab/Hound/Heeler Mix! Crissy and her siblings were found abandoned as puppies, with their original caretakers showing them immense kindness by taking them in. Now, those caretakers are facing health challenges and can no longer provide the care these wonderful pups deserve. Crissy is now in our loving care, ready to find her forever home.
While Crissy can be a little shy at first, her shyness melts away within minutes once she realizes she's getting pets, attention, and delicious treats! She's even known to happily snatch up her brother's treats if he's too nervous to eat them. Crissy is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys short walks. She's generally quiet, only announcing when the doorbell rings, and she's a good traveler in the car. Crissy gets anxious in a crate when left alone, but she's perfectly happy to follow her person around the house during the day and has proven to do well uncrated when home alone.
Ideal Home
Crissy would thrive in a moderately active home that includes another dog. She would also prefer a home where her person is around a lot, as she gets nervous when left alone for extended periods.

Crissy is a healthy girl with no specific health conditions noted.
Training & Support
Crissy is house-trained and walks well on a leash. While she is not a fan of crates, she does well uncrated when her person is home. She may need a little patience as she adjusts to new people, but her shyness is short-lived.
