Augustus Gloop

Hi there! My name is Augustus Gloop, but my foster family affectionately calls me Gloopy, Gloop, Gloopy Boy, Gus Gus, or Big Boy! My journey began when my mom, a stray from Texas, was rescued by Save-A-Bull while pregnant with me and my siblings. I was born into a wonderful foster home and then moved on to this next phase of my life with my sister.

Here, I'm living with a couple of cats and two other doggies. I'm doing pretty well with the cats; sometimes I get a little excited, but we've had some really sweet moments together. I absolutely love playing with my foster siblings and all the toys, but I also have a deep appreciation for a good nap! My favorite spots for snoozing are a comfy dog bed, snuggled up with my foster humans, or curled up right next to my brother or foster siblings. And can we talk about how cute I am? My foster family says I have the most innocent eyes, the biggest belly and head, and the best head tilts! I'm still a little pocket pittie puppy, so I'm going through a teething phase and am working hard on potty training. But I do love going outside and exploring! I really look to my foster humans for guidance and I'm eager to spend quality time learning.

Ideal Home

I would love a home that will play with me, snuggle with me, show me lots of love and patience, and be my best friend and companion every day. A doggy sibling would be wonderful to help show me the ropes!

Ongoing Health

I am a puppy and am currently teething and working on potty training.

Training & Support

I need some patience with training, but I'm eager to learn! Food and dedicated attention are big motivators for me. I'm so ready to keep learning how to be the best dog I can be!
