Meet Gage!
Gage is a spirited one-year-old Mountain Cur/Coonhound mix whose essence is a lively mix of heart and playfulness wrapped in a stunning brown brindle coat. He's the kind of pup who can instantly brighten your day with his joyful energy and irresistible charm! His favorite hobbies include chasing squeaky toys, playing tug-of-war like it’s a competitive sport, and perfecting the art of fetch, though he’s still working on the "bring it back" part. Gage is a medium-sized bundle of love, weighing in around 60 pounds, with an athletic build and the soulful eyes of a dog who’s ready to bond deeply with his new family. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good romp! He absolutely adores people and is always game for belly rubs, cuddles, or just sitting beside you like a loyal little shadow. He’s been gentle and friendly around everyone he’s met, and he seems like he’d be a great match for families with children, too. Gage’s guardian was unable to schedule his neuter due to limited availability at their local clinic, so he has not yet been neutered. He will bring along his personal starter pack: crate, bed, blankets, toys, food, and bowls, everything he needs to settle in and start his next chapter! Are you ready for endless games of tug, affectionate snuggles, and the happy chaos that only a joyful young pup like Gage can bring into your life?
Ideal Home
Gage would thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful energy and offers plenty of opportunities for fun and bonding.
Ongoing Health
Gage has not yet been neutered. His adoption will require that he be neutered by his new family.
Training & Support
Gage is crate trained and house-trained. He is doing great with basic commands like "sit" and is currently learning "stay," "come," and "down" with positive reinforcement. He handles being alone for short periods like a champ.
