Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome and adventurous 1.5-year-old shepherd mix, weighing about 57 lbs. He's a social butterfly who thrives on activity and engagement, whether it's hiking, playing in the backyard, or learning new things. Tahoe is eager to be your loyal companion and join you on all your adventures. He's house-trained, crate-trained, affectionate, and incredibly smart, making him a very workable and trainable dog.

Ideal Home

Tahoe would thrive in an active home where he can be involved in family activities. He needs a home without cats, as his prey drive can be too strong for felines. He also needs to be in a home with dogs over 25 lbs, as smaller dogs may feel overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.

Ongoing Health

Tahoe is a healthy boy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, microchipping, and preventative medications.

Training & Support

Tahoe is a smart and eager learner who responds well to guidance and positive reinforcement. Continued training will help him thrive. He already shows good leash manners and recovers well from overstimulation. Consistency and structure will go a long way in helping him succeed.

Tahoe is currently located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
