RIOJA

Rioja has truly blossomed! She arrived as a very scared mom with eight puppies, initially too timid to walk on a leash and quite shut down. She has made incredible progress and now walks nicely on leash, is learning to trust and enjoy human attention, and is even beginning to learn commands. She gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and would be happiest with a canine sibling in her new home. Rioja is currently receiving TLC in foster care with several other dogs, but she's eager to continue building her confidence and trust in a forever home.

Ideal Home

Rioja would love a home with a doggy sibling, as she does well with other dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Rioja is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rioja is still building her confidence and trust. She is working on learning commands and is learning to love and trust human attention.
