Sophie (I am in a holistic rescue please read my description)

I'm Sophie, and I'm quite the princess around here! I was at a shelter and was at risk of being euthanized due to fear and snapping. Thankfully, Mama Dog stepped in and brought me to this wonderful rescue. When I first arrived, I was a bit reactive to some of the bigger dogs, which unfortunately led to me getting hurt. Because of this, I need to be in a home without any large dogs. I do enjoy the company of smaller dogs, but I can get a little protective and jealous when I'm close to my human. I've been through a lot, so I need a patient adopter who will go slow with me. But once you earn my trust, I'm yours forever! Mama Dog says I prance like a princess, and I agree! Meal times are my favorite, and I love to snuggle up close to you at bedtime. I really enjoy being pampered, petted, and having you talk to me.

Ideal Home

A home without big dogs. I may also react to young children, so a home without them would be best.

Ongoing Health

I've been spayed, microchipped, and muscle tested. I'll come with supplements to help me continue my holistic wellness journey. I eat a well-balanced diet of meat protein mixed with Dr Harvey's or Grandma Lucy's, and Zignature kibble. My body is detoxed and free of harsh chemicals. The rescue hopes my new home will continue a holistic approach to keep me healthy for many years to come. We utilize Sheppard Alternative Animal Care and Natural Healing Pet Care.

Training & Support

I need a patient adopter who will go slow with me. Once my trust is earned, I am loyal and loving.
