Diego is a GORGEOUS Portuguese Waterdog mix, possibly with some Poodle and Labrador in his lineage. He's two years old and weighs around 55 pounds, with a full grown weight expected to be 60-65 pounds. Diego has long, soft black fur and beautiful dark eyes, embodying the heart of a teddy bear. He's a fluffy adventure seeker with plenty of energy, capable of impressive leaps and bounds. Once he's had his playtime or a good walk, Diego settles down nicely and is quite calm. He absolutely adores cuddling and will give big hugs standing on his hind legs. Diego is looking for a companion to join him on all sorts of adventures.

Diego would thrive with an active adopter who understands he needs time to adjust and settle into his new home.

Diego is microchipped and vaccinated. He will be neutered soon.

Transporation

Diego is located in Houston, Texas. He is an "out of town pet" and transport can be arranged to a location near you. Transport is provided by AJC Rescue & Transport via air-conditioned/heated vans with a team of two drivers. You will be included in a group chat for real-time updates on his location and estimated arrival time. Please note that arrival times are subject to change due to traffic or weather. Dogs are crated during transport and will have stops for breaks.
