Ella

Ella is such a pretty girl with the cutest happy tail wags and a big smile! She is a very sweet and playful terrier mix who gets along great with kids and other dogs. Let’s find this little ray of sunshine a happy home; she so deserves one! When her previous family moved, they took her with them but left her brother Mulligan behind in horrific conditions, tied up outside in a pile of trash. Fortunately, Mulligan was rescued and adopted by a loving family. A rescue offered to take Ella too, but her family initially said no. Instead, they continued to leave Ella outside on a chain tied to a trailer hitch on a truck with little to no attention. Eventually, her family surrendered Ella to the rescue. She has received so much love and care and continues to come out of her shell. It might take her a minute to totally warm up to you, but with a little patience, you'll have a bestie for life! She absolutely loves attention!

Ella would thrive in a home that can offer her patience as she warms up to new people. She has a history of being left outside and can take a moment to feel secure, but once she does, she is a devoted companion.

Training & Support

Ella is house-trained. While she is generally good with kids and other dogs, it might take her a little time to fully trust and warm up to new people. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help her blossom into your best friend.
