Jimmy is a 1.5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix who weighs around 45 pounds. He's currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, and is ready to transport to his forever home once an adopter is matched. Jimmy has two speeds: full throttle and full snuggle! He's a happy-go-lucky, energetic boy who loves making friends with both humans and other dogs. His tail wags at about 1,000 mph when he meets new people, and he's always eager for a game of tag, tug-of-war, or a wrestling match.
Ideal Home
Jimmy would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. A yard is a bonus but not required; engagement and companionship are most important. He'd love a work-from-home human or an active family who will include him in daily life. Another playful dog could be a great match, especially if they enjoy high-energy play. Jimmy might be too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision. He has not been tested with cats but may chase them at this stage.

Jimmy is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Jimmy is fully house-trained with only minor early adjustment issues. Crate training is a work in progress, but he's making great strides. He can be left alone for moderate periods (4-6 hours), especially with another dog. Jimmy is still polishing his leash manners and can pull when excited, but he is very food- and praise-motivated and eager to learn. He doesn't exhibit resource guarding, though he does think every toy is the best toy.
