Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is an 11-month-old, 50 lb, neutered male Pitbull mix with the kindest eyes and a sweet face. He has adorable speckle markings on his chest that make him unique. Morgan was born in his foster home in Houston and is a happy boy with a gentle nature who loves to be close to his people. He can be a little cautious at first but warms up quickly to become affectionate and eager for love. Morgan enjoys playing with his siblings and appreciates a calm environment.

Ideal Home

Morgan hasn't been around children yet, but we expect he will do well with kids who understand how to respect a dog's boundaries. We have no history with cats. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and enjoys the comfort of canine friends. He would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than away, as young dogs need time, structure, and companionship.

Morgan is up to date on vaccinations and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Morgan is progressing well with potty training and is crate-trained. He is not yet leash-trained, so his new family should be ready to gently guide him as he learns about walks, harnesses, and exploring the world. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he'll grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion.

Transporation

Morgan is currently in Houston, Texas, and can be transported to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed the screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks. Transports run every few weeks.
