Meet Mia, a 2-year-old, 38-pound miracle mutt who is a true survivor! She was saved from euthanasia at the last moment and is now ready to live her best life. Mia is a loving and playful girl who will greet you with happy wiggles and a wagging tail every morning. She's a chill princess inside, enjoying couch time with her toys and a good show, especially anything on the Food Network. Mia is a super chewer and will provide endless entertainment with her silly antics.

Ideal Home

Mia does well with structured introductions to other dogs and would thrive with a male canine companion who is her size or larger. She loves kids but would do best in a home with children ages 10 and up due to her energetic nature. Mia needs a calm environment for walks, so busy streets can be overwhelming for her. She also requires slow introductions to men, but once trust is established, she forms strong bonds.

Ongoing Health

Mia has a history of heightened anxiety outdoors and uses a stylish pink muzzle or her favorite ball for anxiety relief during walks. Her trainer has verified that her ball is a crucial tool for managing her anxiety.

Training & Support

Mia is still working on her leash training and can be anxious in outdoor environments. Her trainer has identified her ball as an anxiety-relief tool. She is potty and grass pad trained and crate trained, making her a great companion even when you need to leave for a few hours.
