He was rescued after he willingly jumped into a car with strangers, despite his initial apprehension. Rex has clearly experienced abandonment, and while he misses his former owners, he is confused and grieving. He has a strong personality and can be dominant, but he seeks kindness and affection, often leaning in for gentle pets. He will, however, let you know if he feels uncomfortable. Rex is a resilient dog who is longing for a stable and loving home where he can heal and learn to trust again.
