Meet Sparky – Your Goofy, Loyal Shadow

Sparky is a 4-year-old brindle and white pit mix, weighing in at a solid 80–85 lbs. He has a big body and an even bigger personality! This handsome guy joined our family after his beloved original owner passed away. Despite life's changes, Sparky remains a bubbly, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy companion. He loves learning tricks, going for runs, playing tug-of-war, and, most of all, snuggling up for long naps. He's fully housebroken, crate trained, and content in his crate with his toys or a good snooze. Sparky also does great at the vet and adores the staff there! He's a loyal and protective boy, making him an excellent companion for someone experienced with dogs who appreciates a devoted sidekick.

Ideal Home

Sparky is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He thrives on routine and needs a home where he can continue building on his training foundation.

Training & Support

Sparky is working on his reactions around other animals and can be reactive to them and small children. He is highly food-motivated and responds beautifully to structured introductions and positive reinforcement. He's attentive and responsive to commands on walks. With proper introductions, patience, and consistency, he does wonderfully meeting new people, especially after a walk and with treats.
