About Blue

Hi there! I'm Blue, a 40-pound Labrador Retriever mix with an adventurous spirit, a goofy personality, and enough energy to keep life exciting! If you're the kind of family that loves hiking, exploring, playing outside, or simply staying active, I think we'd make an awesome team. I absolutely love to play, wrestle around, and get everyone laughing with my silly antics. It doesn't take much to get me hyped up, so I'd love a home that's ready for lots of fun and exercise. I'm still working on a few of my manners, like remembering not to jump up on people or get a little mouthy when I get overly excited, but I'm a smart boy who listens well when I'm corrected.

Once I've had a chance to burn off my energy, I'm more than happy to kick back, relax by your side, or wander around exploring whatever catches my curiosity. When you first meet me, I might seem a little shy or cautious. New people, quick movements, and loud noises can make me feel unsure, so I really appreciate when someone lets me come to them at my own pace. The fastest way to win me over is with a soft baby voice, gentle movements, and lots of praise-those are truly the keys to my heart! Once I realize you're kind and patient, my big, lovable personality starts to shine. I'll become your loyal adventure buddy, your goofy playmate, and your relaxing companion all wrapped into one happy package. If you're looking for a sweet, active best friend who's ready to keep learning and share every adventure by your side, I just might be the perfect match for you!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active family that loves to go on adventures! I'd do best in a home where people are patient and can help me learn new things.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy boy and all my vet care is up to date.

Training & Support

I'm still learning my manners and sometimes get a little too excited, which can lead to jumping and being a bit mouthy. I respond well to gentle corrections and positive reinforcement.
