Lucie's story started on a heartbreaking note--she was dumped at the Red Roof Inn on a rainy night. Thankfully, she's safe now, and this resilient girl is ready for the next chapter of her life. Lucie is a Husky/Belgian Shepherd mix, and she brings all the intelligence, athleticism, and loyalty you'd expect from those breeds. She is a great walker, enjoys getting out and moving, and really shines when she's given structure and guidance. She seems to do well with other non-reactive dogs and gets along well with Timmy, one of our other dogs, which is always a great sign. Lucie would thrive with a confident, experienced owner who understands working breeds and can give her the mental and physical enrichment she needs. Lucie is looking for someone who will commit to her, guide her, and never let her feel abandoned again. If you're experienced with huskies, shepherds, or similar breeds and are looking for a smart, loyal companion, Lucie might be your perfect match.

Lucie would thrive with a confident, experienced owner who understands working breeds and can give her the mental and physical enrichment she needs. A fenced yard is required, and apartments are not suitable for her.
