Groot is the Head of the Welcome Committee and Self-Appointed Assistant Manager of your household, even though no one officially hired him! This hilarious 45-pound bundle of joy walks through life with a sense of purpose, whether you're making breakfast, taking out the trash, or just checking the mail – he's there to supervise and assist. He's an exceptional backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer all rolled into one. You'll first notice his enormous ears, which seem to pick up on everything happening miles away. He's a goofball with an important job, and he takes it very seriously, often staring into the distance as if solving a complex investigation, only to be swept away by a sudden case of the zoomies.
Ideal Home
Groot absolutely adores other dogs and truly blossoms with canine companionship. He would thrive in a home with another playful dog to wrestle, explore, and cuddle with. While he is a well-behaved boy, homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for everyone.
Ongoing Health
Groot is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Groot is a remarkably well-behaved dog! He is fully house trained, crate trained, and knows an impressive list of commands including sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He is a quick learner, responds wonderfully to praise, and genuinely aims to please his people. He also has a sweet habit of gently placing his toys in your lap as a thoughtful gesture.
