Haku JuM*

Haku means "pure" in Japanese, and that perfectly describes his pure, passionate, and overwhelming love for everyone around him! Haku came to Wags when his dad was stationed in Japan and was heartbroken that he couldn't take him along. Haku has missed his dad terribly and tries to relive those happy memories by playing with other dogs, but it's just not the same. He's now hoping a new family will scoop him up and show him what it feels like to be part of a loving home again! Haku is good with other dogs and loves to play chase or tug on chew toys with them.

Ideal Home

Haku will thrive in a happy and active home filled with love and fun! He can be a bit anxious and nervous around new people, so slow introductions and a safe retreat space, like a crate, will help him feel comfortable. It's important not to force him into spaces with tons of people.
