Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound Pit Bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and scared but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. Mabel's favorite activities include cuddling, giving kisses, going for car rides, and being showered with attention. She's a happy and outgoing dog who is wonderful with children and has shown particular gentleness and patience with an autistic child. Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs, though she can get a bit overexcited during play and is still learning to read social cues. She tends to pull on the leash when she sees other dogs but is making good progress with her leash manners. Mabel would likely thrive with a playful, tolerant canine companion or as the only dog in the household. She would likely do best in a home without cats. Mabel is not destructive when left unsupervised and prefers to be close to her humans, often sleeping cuddled with them. She can be a little anxious about vet visits and certain procedures, requiring patience and a gentle approach. Mabel is not a fan of crates and prefers sleeping in a comfy spot with her people.
