Pop

Hi there! My name is Pop, and I'm a super happy, snuggly guy with the softest fur and adorable white markings on my nose. I came to Wags with my brother and sister from New Mexico. I'm a big fan of cuddles and love to sleep close to my foster mom, especially when she's warm! My fur is a bit thicker than most pitties, which makes me extra cozy.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family with older kids, another dog to be my best friend, and a fun, active lifestyle. Sleeping in bed with my people is a must! I can be a little unsure of fast-moving children at first, but I warm up and become a licker within about 10 minutes. I also tend to bark at my foster sister's friends, but I'm otherwise super good with her.

Training & Support

I'm proud to say I'm potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out by lying by the door. I'm also kennel trained, but I much prefer not to be in my kennel. I'm trustworthy enough to be left out on my own and don't chew on things; I usually just sleep. I know "sit," "stay," "wait," and "off," and I'm working on "come." I'm very food-motivated, especially by peanut butter and yogurt, and I wait for the "okay" command before eating. I'm also getting better at taking treats gently.
