Meet Lacy! This adorable 8-week-old dachshund mix is a true adventurer, having journeyed all the way from Puerto Rico to Colorado. She's all ready to find her loving forever home and is expected to be a petite 20-30 lbs full grown.

Lacy is a bundle of spunky energy! She’s a confident explorer who’s always the first to investigate new things, initiate playtime, or zoom around just for the fun of it. Her curious and brave spirit brings a playful spark to every moment. She’s also working on her potty training and leash manners, and absolutely adores toys and playtime. She’s a good girl who sleeps soundly in her crate at night, waking up ready for cuddles and a new day.

Ideal Home

Lacy is a social butterfly who does wonderfully when meeting new people and playing with other dogs. While she hasn't met cats yet, her friendly and playful nature suggests she'll adapt well to feline introductions with patience.

Ongoing Health

Lacy is not yet spayed and still needs to complete her vaccination series. She is available through our foster-to-adopt program until she is medically cleared to finalize her adoption.

Training & Support

Lacy is actively learning potty training and how to walk on a leash. Continued positive reinforcement will help her master these skills.
