Benny

Benny is a wonderfully sweet, neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix who is about 4 to 4.5 years old and weighs between 45-50 pounds. He has a playful and fun-loving personality and absolutely adores playing frisbee, often leaping to catch it mid-air! Benny is also a big fan of water and loves to splash around. He ended up at a rural shelter through no fault of his own, but he's ready to leave that behind and find his forever family.

Ideal Home

Benny would thrive in an active, playful home that can keep up with his medium energy level. He enjoys running, jumping, and engaging in fun activities. He gets along well with other medium to large dogs, both male and female, and can even act as a peacemaker if he notices tension between other dogs. He was previously returned due to improper introductions with another male dog, but in his current environment, he plays appropriately with dogs his size or larger. Cats are unknown. Benny is NOT a candidate for tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and fully potty trained. He also rides well in the car and does not experience anxiety when left home alone.
