Raquel

Raquel is an eleven-month-old Anatolian Shepherd with a heart as big as she is! She came to us from a large hoarding situation where she didn't get the early socialization she needed. While she's still a little unsure of new things, Raquel is incredibly sweet and eager to trust. She needs a little time to process and settle, but she's making wonderful progress every day! Raquel is a large girl, expected to be well over 100 pounds, and is still learning about indoor living, leash walking, and household routines. Patience, routine, and consistency will help her blossom.

Ideal Home

Raquel would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and a confident, friendly resident dog to help her learn and build her confidence. Due to her sensitive nature and developing confidence, we recommend a home with children over the age of 10.

Ongoing Health

Raquel is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Raquel is inexperienced with indoor living and leash walking, so she'll need guidance and patience as she learns. A routine and consistent environment will be very beneficial for her.
