Coal is a friendly, playful, and curious young boy with lots of energy! He's athletic and loves going for walks and playing in the park. Coal is crate-trained and generally does well with other dogs, but he is dog-selective, meaning he prefers to meet new canine friends slowly and on his own terms. He's a loving and loyal companion who is eager to find his forever family. We estimate Coal to be around 5 years old. We don't know much about his past, only that he was rescued from the Borger, Texas pound, but we do know he's ready for his next chapter!
Ideal Home
Coal would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
Ongoing Health
Coal is up-to-date on his vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and his fecal test was negative. He has been neutered.
Training & Support
Coal is crate-trained. As he is dog-selective, continued slow introductions to new dogs will be beneficial.

Transporation
Coal is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption throughout the country thanks to our transport program.
The adoption fee is $500, which includes his neuter, current vaccinations, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs.
