About Sadie

Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and show her sweet personality. She loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of energy. She is Balu’s sister, and they share the same rescue story. In October 2024, they were found abandoned along with their siblings in a planter outside a school. They were very young and crying when they were rescued. Since then, Sadie has been waiting for her chance to experience life in a loving home.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Families with a real intention to rescue a dog, with an open conscience about the needs of street animals, and a willingness to provide protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued animals are essential.

Ongoing Health

Sadie has received the following veterinary care: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI Vaccines, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Microchip, 4DX Test and Certificate, Heartworm Test Negative Certificate, Monthly Preventive Protection with Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, and heartworm), and a Health Certificate. She has a Vaccines booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may need an adjustment period due to past experiences.

Training & Support

Sadie is not house-trained. It's important to understand that many rescued dogs are not house-trained due to the challenges of providing this in a shelter environment. Patience and understanding are crucial during her adjustment period to help build trust and strengthen your bond.
