Shadow Mini Hershey Kisses

Meet Shadow, a delightful 1-year-old Black Lab and Pitbull mix who is 45 pounds of pure puppy love! Shadow is a pro at potty training and walks beautifully on a leash, making her a joy to take out for 10-20 minute strolls. She's also a quick learner, already mastering simple commands and eager to please with the promise of a treat.

Shadow's personality shines with her incredible affection. She's the type of pup who instantly wants to be your best friend, leaning in for cuddles and showering you with happy tail wags and puppy kisses. She has a playful spirit and loves to entertain herself with toys, but also cherishes a good cuddle session and especially enjoys a good booty scratch!

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with another confident, medium-energy dog to help her build confidence and have a playmate. While a house with a yard would be ideal for her love of playing, she could also adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise and enrichment. A cat-free home is recommended, as Shadow can get a little too excited when meeting felines. She also does best with older children, as she is still a bouncy and playful pup.

Training & Support

Shadow is eager to learn and very treat-motivated. She already knows how to sit, which makes training sessions fun and rewarding. While she's working on her leash manners, this is typical for her age and will improve with consistent practice.

Shadow is currently located in the Houston area. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel for all pets. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
