Artie is a 3-year-old, spayed female Terrier mix, weighing around 32 pounds. She's a spirited and joyful girl who's always up for an adventure! Artie loves to play fetch, zoom around with her toys, and greet new people with a happy wag. She's also incredibly smart, affectionate, and loves to snuggle after a good play session.
Ideal Home
Artie would thrive in an active home with people who enjoy outdoor activities and playtime. She has done well with large dogs (50-100 lbs) but needs slow introductions. She would likely enjoy a playful canine companion. While she hasn't been around cats or children, her friendly nature suggests she could adapt well with proper introductions.
Ongoing Health
Artie is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed. She is house-trained and crate-trained.
Training & Support
Artie can be a little protective of her toys but quickly backs off and has never escalated beyond that. She may bark or pull on leash when she sees other dogs, so continued training will help her with this. She should continue to be crated when left alone as she is curious and can get into things if unsupervised. Her ideal home will be patient and ready to continue her training, especially in helping her learn to settle calmly and share toys more comfortably.
