Meet Leesa, a brilliant and affectionate 2.5-year-old Hound / Boxer mix (and a delightful blend of many other amazing breeds!). Leesa is approximately 70 lbs of pure enthusiasm, but don't let her size fool you – she's a 70 lb lap dog at heart who thrives on cuddles. She was surrendered as a baby and is now looking for a loving family to give her the best life. Leesa is a super smart pup who excels with mental stimulation and is already crate and potty trained. She's capable of learning complex tricks and enjoys puzzle toys, people-watching, and her favorite stuffed animals.
Ideal Home
Leesa is best suited for a home without children under 16 due to her size and exuberance. She would do well as an "only child" or with a canine sibling who enjoys a "rough-and-tumble" play style. A strictly cat-free home is a must as Leesa finds felines a bit too interesting. She's an athlete who can jump short fences and baby gates, so a secure outdoor environment is essential.
Ongoing Health
All dogs adopted through Wags are up-to-date on vaccinations and are spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. Leesa has a medium-to-high prey drive, but she has been a star pupil in training for this, and her adopters will receive her full "syllabus" to continue her success.
Training & Support
Leesa is a bright girl who is food-motivated and ready for advanced training. All dogs require professional training to become the best family members they can be.
