Dixianna is a beautiful 3-6 year old, 60-pound Heeler mix with a heart full of love to give! She's spayed, fully vetted, and has a knack for being a wonderful companion. Dixianna grew up in a home with children and is now dreaming of a forever family to shower with affection. She's incredibly smart, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a perfect passenger on car rides. Plus, she's house-trained and kennel-trained, making her a breeze to have around. She adores all people and is eager to be your best friend, whether you're watching TV or just looking for a cuddly companion.
Ideal Home
Dixianna would thrive in a home that can match her affectionate nature. She is not good with cats and can be a little bossy with some other dogs, so a home without feline friends and potentially as the sole canine companion or with a well-matched dog friend would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Dixianna is spayed and fully vetted. All our dogs receive vaccinations (DHLPP, rabies, Bordetella), are heartworm tested with negative results, microchipped, treated for parasites, and are on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. A health certificate from a licensed Louisiana veterinarian is provided.
Training & Support
Dixianna is house-trained and kennel-trained. She loves toys and is eager for affection. She's a great companion and will happily cuddle up with you anytime!

Transportation
Dixianna is currently in Alexandria, Louisiana. Transport to designated New England adopter pick-up locations and foster homes is available through Mighty Mutts Shipping, Pets LLC, or CAFA Transport. This is included in the adoption fee. For MA and NH residents, an additional $155.00 fee applies due to state quarantine requirements.
