Cooper

Cooper is a shy pup who may need a little extra time to warm up to new people and things. He'll likely blossom in a home environment with patience and time. Cooper enjoys sniff walks and playing with his toys. He knows "sit" and is highly motivated by treats!

Ideal Home

Cooper may prefer a calm, quiet home. He needs a home with no cats or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Cooper tested heartworm positive and has received initial treatment. He will need a second treatment and a recheck to ensure he is in the clear. All treatment phases will be completed at the ARL at no additional cost to the adopter. Cooper will need to be kept fairly calm until his treatment is complete.

Training & Support

Cooper can be a bit socially awkward around other dogs and does not like to share his food and bones. If he is around other dogs, some resource management will be needed, and dog introductions are required.
