Leroy

Look at that smile! You'd be hard-pressed to find a more charming grin than Leroy's.

Leroy is a 2-year-old Pyr mix who is as sweet as can be. He came to us when his owner faced some health challenges. Leroy absolutely adores people and might give you an enthusiastic jump or two when he first meets you. Because of this, a home with very young children might not be the best fit. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though he can be a bit dominant, especially with males. He'd likely do best with a mellow female dog or as the only canine companion. Leroy is curious about cats and while he's eager to make friends, we think most cats could easily hold their own!

Ideal Home

Leroy would thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where he can run and play. He's looking for an active adopter who can keep up with his playful energy, but he's not quite the "Energizer Bunny." Since he can be a bit vocal, apartments are not ideal for Leroy.
