July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull weighing 59 pounds. She's a sweet and affectionate girl who was rescued from a county shelter in Houston, Texas. July has lived happily in both apartment and house settings. She makes every day brighter with her adorable smile and loves to be close to her people, whether for cuddles or simply by your side.

Ideal Home

July has a moderate energy level and enjoys a couple of walks daily, playing with toys, and her adorable zoomies. She's happy to settle in for cuddle time after playtime. She has shown to be friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but is also content as an only pet. While July's gentle nature suggests she'd do well in a family home, due to her size and strength, supervised play with very young children is recommended. She will thrive in any home, apartment or house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle.

Training & Support

July is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate. She is generally non-destructive, but it's a good idea to keep shoes picked up as she might occasionally sneak off with an unattended sandal. She is eager to please and responds well to guidance, and would benefit from a little continued leash training. July has not been tested with cats.

Transporation

July is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. She can be transported to an adopter once approved. Transport is included in our adoption donation.
