Morpheus

Hi there! My name is Morpheus, but my foster mom calls me Morphy for short. I'm an 8-year-old mellow male who's looking for a cozy retirement home. I love going for walks and exploring the world, so a fenced yard would be just purr-fect for me. I'm also a big fan of car rides! While I enjoy my people, I don't do well being left alone for extended periods, and I'm not a huge fan of my crate. Ideally, I'd love a home where someone is around a lot. If I'm left alone too long, I might get a little chatty, so an apartment might not be the best fit. I'm a big softie who loves to snuggle up in a comfy recliner – if you're looking for a cuddly companion, I'm your guy! I also get along great with kids and other dogs. I can't wait to find my forever family and finally settle in.

Ideal Home

A fenced yard is a must for me to explore safely. I'd also prefer a home where someone is around often, as I don't do well with long periods of alone time. An apartment might not be the best fit due to my tendency to bark when left alone.

Ongoing Health

I've been fixed, microchipped, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained but am only somewhat crate-trained. I tend to get a bit vocal when left alone for too long, so a patient family is key.
