Meet Mila! This sweet 3-year-old, approximately 40lb Pitbull/Staffie mix is a bundle of fun and affection, ready to find her forever home. Mila is a smart, curious girl who loves to explore and learn. She's people-oriented, always eager to greet new friends with enthusiasm and is incredibly cuddly, enjoying pets and kisses. Mila has shown herself to be trustworthy when left unsupervised, as long as tempting food and trash are out of reach.

Ideal Home

Mila would thrive in a moderately to very active home that has older, dog-savvy children or no children. She absolutely needs at least one other dog to play with, as she enjoys canine companionship and has a lot of energy. A family looking for a running partner or an outdoor adventure buddy would be a perfect match.

Ongoing Health

Mila is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Mila is still young and eager to please, quickly picking up on new lessons. While she hasn't been crate trained due to always having supervision and access to a doggy door, she is learning. Her foster notes she can sometimes jump on other dogs during play, so continued guidance on polite greetings will be beneficial. She loves food and treats, so separate feeding is recommended to ensure harmony. Patience and reassurance will help Mila adjust and become the very best girl.

Transporation

Mila is currently in San Antonio, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be placed on the next available transport after approval.
