Diggie Doodlebug Hoverfluff is an 11 lb Shih Tzu mix who looks like a miniature Chewbacca with tiny paws and a perfect button nose. At an estimated 4 years old, Diggie is a playful, sensitive soul who forms deep attachments to his people. While his grooming needs are moderate, his scruffy grey coat adds to his unique charm, making him a true "rescue-muppet" when it grows out. He's incredibly smart and full of personality once he feels comfortable. Diggie loves toys, enjoys dramatic digging sessions in his dog bed, and bonds intensely with his family. He has a particular fondness for children and would truly thrive in a home with kids. He has also successfully lived with cats and can do well with calm, easygoing dogs after slow introductions. Even in stressful new environments, Diggie has shown a remarkably soft temperament, never reacting roughly. Once he trusts you, he's happy to be part of a busy lifestyle and enjoys going on adventures.

Pick-up locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
