Meet Nico! This adorable 6-year-old Shih Tzu, weighing around 14 pounds, is sure to steal your heart with his sweet face, playful personality, and love of treats. Nico enjoys spending time running around the yard with his doggy friends and brings a happy energy wherever he goes.

Ideal Home

Nico would love a loving family that appreciates his sweet nature, playful spirit, and resilient heart. He enjoys canine friends and is looking for a companion to share his love for treats and life.

Ongoing Health

Nico has dry eye, which unfortunately left him blind in one eye due to past lack of treatment. While this condition is not currently bothering him, his future family should be aware that surgery may be needed down the road.

Training & Support

This handsome boy is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He is also working on his leash skills and will continue to benefit from patience and encouragement as he learns.

• The adoption fee is $525, which includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.

Transportation

Nico is currently an out-of-town pet but will be transported to you when adopted. All fees include transport fees. Dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma, placed in foster homes for quarantine and treatment, and transport is arranged once an application is processed or an adopter is interested.
