Sophia: Not at the shelter (Alan)

Sophia is such a beauty! She loves playtime with other dogs, but can be a cuddlebug as well once she has expended her energy. She is an active girl, and will be happiest with a family who can keep up with her bursts of energy. Sophia has made the change from her roots in New Mexico to Virginia with ease. She is familiar with kids, as her foster home has grandchildren who visit frequently, and she knows about cats. She is housetrained and knows about crates.

Ideal Home

Sophia will be happiest with a fenced yard for running time, or a devoted athletic family to get her through her bursts of energy. We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice.

Ongoing Health

Sophia is unaltered. Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell County.
