This handsome seven-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, weighing in at 49 pounds, is a loyal companion with a beautiful blue mottled coat. Tofu is an intelligent and sensitive soul who thrives in a calm, predictable, and secure environment. Once he trusts you, he becomes a devoted friend, eager to be by your side whether you're relaxing on the couch, gardening, or embarking on an outdoor adventure! He loves to play with chew toys and is a fantastic partner for hiking, walking, and running.

Ideal Home

Tofu is seeking a quiet, adult-only home with experienced pet parents who understand anxious or reactive dogs. He needs a home without children, as their activity and unpredictability can increase his anxiety. He is also cautious around unfamiliar people and needs slow, structured introductions. He has had a history of fear-based nipping incidents when strangers have made direct eye contact or tried to pet him before he was ready. He consistently offers warning signs beforehand. While he can be cautious initially, he settles well when his need for space is respected.

Training & Support

Tofu is a smart boy who has completed formal training and knows commands such as sit, down, place, roll, heel, come, shake, and high five. He responds best to clear guidance and a confident caregiver. Patience and understanding are key to helping him feel at ease.
