Ideal Home
Starlight would thrive in a calm, experienced, and dog-savvy home that can offer her a predictable routine and a quiet environment. She needs a home without children or cats, as they can be a bit too stimulating for her. An apartment setting might be too busy for her; a home with a yard would be ideal for her to toss her toys around. She would prefer to be the only pet in the household but could potentially live with a very mellow, easygoing dog who respects her space and doesn't seek constant interaction.

- Before finalizing adoption, you will meet your pet through a video call.
- The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, deworming, spay/neuter), flea and heartworm preventatives, microchip, a Martingale collar, a health certificate for travel, and transport costs.
- Additional perks for adopters include extensive behavioral testing, discounts on DNA tests and pet insurance, free dog training sessions, discounts on pet food subscriptions and supplies, and access to an exclusive adopter Facebook group.
Transportation
Starlight is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport is available for an additional $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
