Maggie Flowers is a vibrant, approximately 6-year-old pittie mix who weighs around 50lbs. She approaches life with an infectious zest and a talent for turning everyday moments into grand adventures, often accompanied by her signature "happy dance." Maggie finds immense joy in exploring the outdoors, whether it's chasing squirrels with determined enthusiasm, engaging in spirited games of fetch, or simply reveling in the freedom of zoomies across the yard. She's a natural detective, leaping into bushes with hilarious conviction to investigate every rustle. Despite her energetic spirit, Maggie is equally happy to switch gears and become a snuggle expert, craving closeness and wanting to be an integral part of her family's life. She adores water and would be a fantastic companion for lake trips.
Ideal Home
Maggie would do best as the only dog in the home, as she thrives when she doesn't have to interact closely with other dogs. Cats are also not a good fit for her, as they are too tempting to chase. She needs a home with a fenced yard and an active family who wants their dog to be a true member of the household, joining in on daily activities.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Her heartworm preventative is current.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart girl who has already mastered commands such as sit, down, wait, "go to your bed," and "in" for her crate. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She also has excellent manners, such as waiting at open doors until released. While she can get overly excited and jump up to greet new people, this is out of pure enthusiasm and will continue to improve with consistent training.
