Salem

Salem came to us as an unclaimed stray, and what a wonderful mom she was to her litter of puppies! Now that her little ones are weaned and finding their own families, it's Salem's turn to find her forever home. She's been living in a foster home, learning all about being a cherished indoor pet, and she's ready to bring her love and companionship to yours.

Ideal Home

Salem thrives in a home environment and is accustomed to family living. She does have some difficulty with being confined by herself, so a home where she can be part of the family's activities would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Salem has tested positive for heartworms. Her treatment will be provided at no cost to her adopter through our DAWG program, provided the adopter agrees to make her available for the necessary appointments. She has been treated for parasites and is currently on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative medications.

Training & Support

Salem is used to living indoors and has been a great mom. We are working on her comfort with confinement.
