Indigo is a sweet, curious, and playful boy with a puppy-like energy that will surely win your heart! He absolutely loves a good game of fetch or tug-of-war with his favorite rope toy. When he's not busy with his toys, Indigo enjoys relaxing on an outdoor patio, soaking up the sun, and entertaining himself.
Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, Indigo transforms into a cuddle bug! He's happy to curl up on your lap while you work or snuggle on the couch for a movie night. He's also very food-motivated and enjoys healthy snacks like apples and celery.
Ideal Home
Indigo would thrive in a home with other dogs to play with, as he gets excited and curious when meeting them. He might do well in a home with playful children, though his experience with kids is unknown. He's very affectionate and loves attention. While he was a little nervous on a short car trip, he's a quick learner and we expect he'll become more comfortable with a few more rides.

Training & Support
Indigo is house-trained and sleeps in his crate with the door closed, especially when a tasty treat is involved! He's good on leash but can pull when excited, so continued training to help him calm down on walks would be beneficial. He gets very excited and curious when he sees cats, squirrels, or other dogs on walks, and may bark due to this excitement. He knows "stay" when waiting to cross the street and we've started working on "sit." He has not yet been tested for being left alone.
