Meet Odalys, a bright and playful 5-month-old Blue Heeler puppy! She weighs about 14 pounds and was rescued with her family when she was very young. Odalys is intelligent, curious, and full of energy, just like a typical Blue Heeler. She loves to play with toys, though her enthusiastic spirit means they don't always last long! Odalys is a thoughtful observer; when faced with something new, she prefers to take a moment to assess her surroundings before diving in. She's comfortable around other dogs, children, men, and women. As an active working breed, she'll truly shine with a family that can provide plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to explore and learn. Ideal Home
Odalys would thrive in a home that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. She needs a family that understands the needs of rescued animals and is prepared to offer protection and education. Ideally, her new family will have experience with dog behavior and training, and possess a high level of patience and tolerance for a rescued puppy's journey. Odalys is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Odalys has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworms. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Odalys is not house-trained and will require ongoing training and patience. Her new family should be prepared to provide consistent guidance and support as she learns.

- After application review, a phone or email interview will be scheduled.
- A home check (virtual or in-person) will be conducted.
- A virtual meet-and-greet will be arranged to allow you to meet Odalys and for us to visually assess your home environment.
- If all parties agree it's a good fit, an adoption contract will be provided, followed by a trial adoption period with clear instructions for integration.
Transportation
Odalys is currently fostered in Houston, Texas. Transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest is available for adopted pets. A transportation fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure, covers the service provided by a transport company.
