Red

Meet Zack, affectionately known as Red! This handsome 11-month-old neutered male is a perfect blend of playful energy and calm companionship. Red is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, already house-trained and respectful of furniture. He's not crated in his foster home, happily lounging around or joining in play with his canine pals. Red has wonderful manners and is eager to please. He can be a bit vocal when new people arrive, but a simple "Get back" redirects him, and he quickly warms up, often seeking out head scratches!

Ideal Home

Red would thrive in a home that can appreciate his gentle nature and provide a bit of structure. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is best suited for playmates that are medium to large in size, rather than very small or senior dogs. He's also great with cats and kids!

Ongoing Health

Red is a healthy boy and has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Red is learning leash manners and knows "Sit" and "Down." He responds well to cues like "Easy" and "Get back." He's food-motivated and eats separately to ensure he doesn't overindulge. Slow introductions and structure are key to his success, especially when meeting new dogs.
