Journey

Journey is a handsome, 3.5-year-old neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. Weighing 45-50 lbs, this adventurous boy has a remarkable rescue story. He was famously found after being abandoned during a hurricane in Houston, where he bravely swam to safety before being rescued. That was over a year and a half ago, and Journey has since discovered the joys of a loving home, thriving on daily care and companionship. He's a social butterfly who gets along well with most medium to large female dogs and many medium to large male dogs, though he's a bit picky about other red huskies!

Ideal Home

Journey would do wonderfully in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life and adventures. He would not be suited for apartment living. He absolutely needs a securely fenced yard to run and play. He is not to be tied out or have an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, receives monthly preventatives, is microchipped, and has been neutered.

Training & Support

This smart husky knows his basic commands but is not yet off-leash trained. He loves to play and has no anxiety when riding in the car.
