Roxie

Roxie is a gorgeous and energetic 2-3 year old female German Shepherd who, along with her puppies, found herself in a difficult situation before being rescued. Now healthy and thriving, she's eager to find her forever family. Roxie loves to be active, whether it's running in the yard, playing with water buckets, going on trips, or simply lounging by her foster mom's side. She's a smart, curious, and athletic girl who would make a wonderful companion for an active person or family ready for adventure.

Ideal Home

Roxie would do best in a home with teenage or adult children. She is good with large male dogs but cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Roxie is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives, and she has been spayed.

Training & Support

Roxie is working on her house and crate training, and while she's making good progress, patience will be key as she continues to learn. She is eager to begin full obedience training, including commands like sit, stay, come, down, place, leash walking, and greeting manners. She is highly food-motivated, making training a potentially fun and rewarding experience.

Transporation

Roxie is currently being fostered in Tennessee and is available for transport to the east coast (a transport fee will apply).
