Hazel

Hazel is a beautiful and incredibly smart 2-3 year old German Shepherd mix who is ready for her second chance at a happy life! She was sadly kill-listed at a California shelter before Trina & Friends stepped in to rescue her. Hazel knows her commands and is a very affectionate girl who is eager to be a loyal companion. She thrives with structure, consistency, routine, and leadership, making her a perfect fit for someone with German Shepherd or working breed experience.

Ideal Home

Hazel would do best in a home with someone experienced with German Shepherds or other working breeds. She is good with other dogs, but her compatibility with small dogs and cats is currently unknown. A patient and understanding owner who will provide the necessary decompression time and commitment is essential for her to truly blossom.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hazel knows her basic commands and is generally well-behaved. However, a significant period of decompression is an absolute must for her to adjust to her new environment. Please be prepared to give her ample time, patience, and love as she settles in. Researching the decompression period for rescue dogs is highly recommended before applying.
